Three Virtual Workshops with Marisa Michael
We've got some exciting news - thanks to the Planet Rock Team Booster Club, we were able to set up three virtual workshops about nutrition for climbers with sports dietician, Marisa Michael. These workshops are free and open to all Planet Rock Team members and parents (for the age appropriate workshops). See below for more details!
Marisa Michael, MSc, RDN, CSSD is a registered dietitian, board-certified specialist in sports dietetics, and holds a master’s degree in sports nutrition and the International Olympic Committee’s Diploma in Sports Nutrition. She has a private practice in Portland, Oregon, where she helps individuals and teams enhance performance and health through nutrition. She serves on the USA Climbing Medical Committee and the IFSC nutrition sub-committee. She is the author of Climbing Nutrition: AComprehensive Guide and Nutrition for Outdoor Recreation. Sheworks with youth climbers and teams throughout the world.
